Job Description

We are seeking a Relief Worker to provide support and assistance in various settings, ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals. The Relief Worker will be responsible for offering temporary relief and cover in situations such as emergencies, staff shortages, or planned leave. This role is critical in maintaining continuity of care while supporting vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Support clients during crises by providing immediate assistance and comfort.
• Assess needs and develop action plans to support individuals effectively.
• Coordinate emergency response activities, including the distribution of supplies.
• Engage with families to support their loved ones during challenging times.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Document all care activities and significant interactions with clients.
• Liaise with local authorities and community stakeholders for support.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to clients as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualifications are preferred.

Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with specific needs.
