Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing dies used in wire drawing machinery. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and collaboration with our manufacturing team to ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain tools for wire drawing machines
  • Inspect finished dies and ensure they meet specifications
  • Work closely with quality control teams to uphold production standards
  • Utilise CNC machines to create precise components
  • Support operational processes by providing necessary tooling updates
  • Participate in ongoing company training and professional development
  • Maintain clean and orderly workspaces
  • Coordinate repair schedules to minimise downtime

Requirements

Education
  • No specific qualifications required; relevant apprenticeship or training course in toolmaking or engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in wire drawing die making or precision toolmaking is required
