We are seeking a Clinical Genomics Analyst to join our team in Newcastle. The role involves analysing genetic data, interpreting results, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. You will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes through genomic insights.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex genetic test results and provide insights for patient treatment.
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians to optimize genomic analysis pipelines.
• Perform quality control on genomic data to ensure accuracy.
• Stay abreast of current literature related to genomics and clinical applications.
• Develop training materials and resources for other staff on genomic testing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Genomics, Genetics or related field
• Master's degree in Genomics is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in clinical or laboratory settings

• Molecular Biology Techniques

Certifications

• Genomics Certification from a recognised Institute

Languages
