Production Miner

Job Description

As a Production Miner, you’ll be instrumental in operating and maintaining equipment essential for the extraction and processing of valuable minerals and ores. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient operations while adhering to strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply mining techniques to extract ores safely and efficiently.
• Use blasting techniques as required to facilitate mining operations.
• Support maintenance team in performing preventive maintenance.
• Input data related to production and equipment status into tracking systems.
• Attend regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Keep the work area organized and free of hazards.
• Support the team in achieving recycling and sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mining Operations is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in underground mining operations
