Job Description

We are seeking a Social and Community Service Manager to oversee and coordinate community programs aimed at enhancing social welfare. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects, superb communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of program strategies and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of community initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to strengthen community partnerships.
  • Facilitate staff training and development to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Engage with community members to gather feedback and adjust services accordingly.
  • Ensure all programs are accessible to diverse groups and uphold principles of inclusivity.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment and training to support program activities.
  • Assist in securing funding through grant writing and partnerships.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends and best practices in community service management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Public Administration is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in program coordination or community service management
