Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Structural Engineer to strengthen our team in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and inspecting structural projects, ensuring they meet safety and sustainability standards. An ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles combined with creative design abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural assessments for various construction projects.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for each project phase.
  • Direct and supervise junior engineering staff and interns.
  • Implement sustainable design practices in structural engineering projects.
  • Coordinate project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Perform forensic investigations on failed structures.
  • Help with the preparation of tender documents and contract specifications.
  • Advocating for and ensuring project safety at all levels.
  • Maintain solid relationships with external consultants and clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and engineering

  • Revit
