We are searching for a proactive and enthusiastic Film Production Assistant to join our talented team in Ayr. This role involves supporting various aspects of film production, from pre-production planning to on-set assistance. Ideal candidates should have a keen interest in the film industry and possess strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-set assistance to the crew and talent.
• Help track expenses and manage production budgets.
• Conduct research for production-related projects.
• Coordinate transportation for crew and equipment.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Education

• A-levels or vocational qualification
• Degree in Film Studies, Media Production, or related field is preferred

Experience

• Some experience in a production environment, either through school projects or internships.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of video editing software
• Knowledge of camera equipment

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sound recording equipment: Experience or knowledge of audio equipment used in film production.
• Familiarity with project management software: Understanding of tools such as Trello or Asana for task organization.
