We are on the hunt for a skilled Energy Analyst to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will analyse energy consumption patterns and recommend strategies to optimise energy usage and reduce costs. You will play a crucial role in helping businesses achieve their energy efficiency goals while contributing to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses to determine energy savings potential.
• Develop policies and procedures for effective energy management.
• Collaborate on energy efficiency projects and programmes.
• Assist in the evaluation of energy procurement strategies.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and promote energy-saving practices.
• Research and recommend sustainable technologies for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Environmental Engineering or Energy Management
• Master's degree in Energy Policy or Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a focus on energy efficiency projects

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

• Experience with grant writing for energy projects: Ability to write successful grant proposals to fund energy efficiency initiatives.
