We are seeking a skilled Dust Handler to assist with the safe and efficient handling of various dust forms within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience in dust management, possess strong attention to detail, and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dust management procedures and ensure adherence to environmental compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of dust control systems and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the development of training materials for dust management.
• Collaborate with health and safety officers to promote a safe working environment.
• Prepare reports detailing compliance with dust management protocols.
• Engage with stakeholders to enhance dust management solutions.
• Update logs and databases related to dust handling activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, performing routine checks and maintenance.
• Support emergency response plans related to dust incidents.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in environmental science are preferable

Experience

• 2+ years in dust handling or environmental services

Technical Skills

• Dust extraction systems

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Environmental Awareness Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with air quality monitoring systems: Experience in using systems to monitor and manage air quality.
