Job Description

As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you will be instrumental in the operation and maintenance of our water treatment systems. Your expertise will ensure the production of safe, clean water for our community, and you will work closely with a skilled team to uphold industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Manage chemical storage and handling procedures safely.
• Lead training sessions for new operators and staff on plant procedures.
• Monitor flow rates and pressure levels, making adjustments as needed.
• Stay updated on new treatment technologies and processes.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Water Treatment.

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Chemical handling
• Health and safety regulations knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
