Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Wind Energy Technician to join our team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines, contributing to the growth of renewable energy across the UK.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on wind turbines.
  • Coordinate with project managers for installation of new equipment.
  • Assist in the training of new technicians on safety practices.
  • Prepare reports on turbine performance and maintenance activities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and practices.
Job Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GWO) are preferred
  • Electrical systems understanding Strong grasp of electrical systems used in wind turbines.
  • Mechanical proficiency Expertise in handling mechanical components of wind energy systems.
  • Problem-solving Skilled in resolving maintenance and operational challenges effectively.
  • Teamwork Collaborative approach to working with multiple teams.

  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Training in advanced electrical systems: Relevant training in high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience with high-pressure hydraulic systems: Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems in wind turbines.
