Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Risk Consultant to join our dedicated team in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in environmental assessments, advising on risk management strategies, and compliance with environmental regulations. This role involves working closely with clients to develop sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyse environmental data to identify potential risks and recommend solutions.
  • Lead projects ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Assist in the development of business proposals and project costs.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay updated on environmental legislation and industry trends.
  • Collaborate on research projects aimed at improving risk assessment methodologies.
  • Support the team in business development activities to expand client base.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Earth Sciences, or a related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related roles
