Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Safety Officer with a strong commitment to promoting workplace safety and compliance with regulations. You will oversee site safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide training for site personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing a safety-first mindset among staff and site workers.
  • Organise safety drills and ensure all personnel are familiar with procedures.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training and make necessary adjustments.
  • Regularly update safety handbooks and materials.
  • Monitor environmental conditions that may affect workplace safety.
  • Liaise with external safety auditors during assessments.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous safety improvements.
  • Engage in health and safety forums to share best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Higher qualification in Construction Safety is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of construction experience with a focus on safety
