Job Description
As a Fire Extinguisher Inspector, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all fire safety equipment meets regulatory standards. You'll conduct inspections, perform maintenance, and provide vital education to clients on the proper use of extinguishers.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during inspections.
Provide training to client staff on effective fire extinguisher use.
Assist in developing fire safety plans and emergency procedures.
Perform detailed reports on inspection findings and necessary actions.
Use fire extinguisher inspection software to track equipment status.
Work closely with other fire safety professionals to ensure best practices.
Respond quickly to any urgent repair needs in fire equipment.
Conduct follow-up inspections post-maintenance to assure quality.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed on industry updates.
Requirements
Education
Valid Fire Extinguisher Inspector certification
Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred
Experience
Prior experience as a Fire Extinguisher Inspector or in a related fire safety role is highly desirable.
