Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the distillation process from setup to finishing.
• Adjust the still operation based on produced spirit quality.
• Conduct regular sampling and analysis of products during production.
• Train and mentor less experienced team members on equipment operation.
• Document maintenance actions and production data thoroughly.
• Ensure equipment complies with health regulations and standards.
• Participate in inventory management of raw materials.
• Work closely with quality assurance to refine production techniques.
• Assist in R&D for new product development.
• Support safety protocols and participate in safety drills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational qualification in Distilling or Brewing is advantageous

Experience

• Experience operating stills or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Time management skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in shifts
• Teamwork abilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of specific distillation techniques: Familiarity with advanced distillation techniques and methods.
