Job Description

As an Environmental Compliance Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that construction projects adhere to environmental regulations and standards. You will be tasked with conducting thorough inspections, identifying deviations, and collaborating with project teams to implement corrective actions. A keen eye for detail and extensive knowledge of industry regulations will be essential in maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect various construction projects for adherence to environmental standards.
  • Identify compliance deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Document inspection results and prepare compliance reports.
  • Liaise with project teams to address compliance queries and concerns.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for project teams on compliance practices.
  • Help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection processes.
  • Assist in data collection for environmental assessments.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Management
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance or inspection
