Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Class Gloving Electrical Lineman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing high voltage electrical systems using rubber gloves. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and the ability to work at heights. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise class gloving techniques to safely work on high voltage electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure successful and safe project outcomes.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance work, and repairs conducted.
  • Adhere to best practices in electrical safety and compliance.
  • Assist in training new linemen and provide mentorship.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and developments in the electrical sector.
  • Participate in safety drills and training programs.
  • Support the overall team in delivering high-quality electrical services.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Class Gloving Certification
  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Class Gloving Electrical Lineman or similar role.
