Job Description

As a Building Inspector at Construction Insights Ltd., you will play a crucial role in evaluating building frameworks and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across Glasgow, contributing to the safety and sustainability of our city’s architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect building projects at different stages of construction and document compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on necessary improvements and modifications.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to facilitate compliance inspections.
  • Evaluate construction quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Compile and present inspection reports to management.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote building safety awareness.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with construction projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in building inspection or construction management
