Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Glasgow team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IT systems and networks, offering first-level support to ensure our customers receive excellent service. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, configuring hardware, and assisting with system upgrades, contributing to an efficient IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers and switches.
  • Assist in setting up remote work capabilities for team members.
  • Monitor the security and performance of IT systems.
  • Provide feedback to management on IT-related improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT-related projects.
  • Educate users on IT practices and solutions for efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep up with technology trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Technical certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support
