Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard our cloud infrastructure and applications. In this role, you will work closely with IT teams to design and implement security measures that protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve existing cloud security architectures.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
• Investigate security breaches and prepare mitigation reports.
• Engage in continuous improvement of the security posture for cloud services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles focusing on cloud environments

Technical Skills

• AWS/Azure Security

Certifications

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCLD)

Languages

Advantageous

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS): Familiarity with industry compliance standards and their implementation.
