Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations. You will work closely with the IT department to install, configure, and maintain computer systems, ensuring efficient and effective use of technology within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Manage user permissions and access levels.
• Conduct training sessions for staff to improve IT literacy.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies.
• Assist in data recovery when needed.
• Help maintain documentation for IT processes.
• Monitor and maintain network equipment and software.
• Respond to emergencies and system outages quickly.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians.
• Support software installations and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in technical support
