Medart Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Medart Operator to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess experience operating and maintaining Medart machines, working to produce high-quality artistic metalwork pieces.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Medart machines whilst adhering to specified guidelines.
• Inspect and measure wire components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions, performing routine maintenance as required.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired wire form shapes and dimensions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Document production activities and prepare reports.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training or certification in manufacturing

Experience

• Previous experience in artistic metalwork is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Machine maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in artistic metalwork: Hands-on experience in artistic metalworking will be beneficial.
