Job Description

The Transformer Builder is responsible for assembling and constructing transformers according to specifications. They will work in the manufacturing industry and ensure the quality and functionality of transformers.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical specifications to accurately assemble transformers.
  • Ensure all components are assembled in accordance with quality standards.
  • Conduct testing on transformers to verify functionality and performance.
  • Assist in the design of new transformer systems as needed.
  • Train junior staff on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels of assembly components and request replenishments.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Additional certifications in transformer assembly or related field are advantageous
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in transformer assembly or a similar manufacturing role
Technical Skills
