Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of industrial processes and be responsible for improving efficiency and productivity across our operations. You will be expected to conduct time studies, develop process maps, and implement innovative solutions that drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement layouts that optimise productivity and safety.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement projects.
• Manage projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery.
• Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and training sessions.
• Collect and analyse data to support decision-making processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on process effectiveness.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO standards: Familiarity with ISO standards in manufacturing practices.
• BIM software experience: Experience with Building Information Modelling software is beneficial.
