Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Silo Tender to oversee the operation and maintenance of silo systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials, while also monitoring inventory levels and performing routine inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials into silos.
• Record and manage inventory levels diligently.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain silo systems.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with industry standards.
• Work closely with colleagues to streamline operations and minimise disruption.
• Communicate effectively with operations and management regarding any issues.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance operational skills.
• Document operational procedures and update records accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or agricultural sector is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Certifications

• Forklift certification (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
