Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Technician to provide exceptional IT support to our users in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for helping others, ensuring that technical issues are resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Respond promptly to user requests for support.
  • Document troubleshooting processes and resolutions.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up IT services.
  • Work collaboratively with IT team to enhance service delivery.
  • Support software updates and system upgrades as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
  • Professional certifications in IT support (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
