Job Description

Join our committed team as a Licensed Certified Professional Midwife. You will provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, assist during childbirth, and support new parents in nurturing their newborns. Bring your expertise in midwifery to our supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health evaluations for expectant mothers during prenatal appointments.
  • Offer support and education regarding nutrition and prenatal care practices.
  • Provide assistance in facilitating safe labour and delivery experiences.
  • Perform detailed assessments during labour to ensure both mother and baby's well-being.
  • Administer postnatal assessments and care for both mother and infant.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Document patient information accurately and update records regularly.
  • Participate in training programmes to further professional development.
  • Abide by all relevant midwifery and healthcare practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of a recognised midwifery training programme
  • Registered with the NMC in the UK
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar midwifery role
