Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Veterinary Virus Serum Inspector to join our quality control team. The successful candidate will carry out inspections and tests on virus serum samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and analyses of viral serums.
  • Document and communicate testing results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that testing procedures align with current regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments effectively.
  • Support research initiatives aimed at improving vaccine formulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to team members and external partners.
  • Prepare concise reports for regulatory bodies as required.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to enhance quality protocols.
  • Participate in health and safety audits and compliance checks.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of industry changes.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in veterinary science or a related field
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in laboratory testing, preferably in virus serum inspection.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in LIMS
  • ELISA and PCR experience

Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Postgraduate qualification: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
