Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Midwife to join our healthcare team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns. Responsibilities

  • Monitor vital signs and fetal well-being throughout pregnancy.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Encourage breastfeeding and provide lactation support to new mothers.
  • Educate patients on prenatal classes and childbirth preparation.
  • Ensure active participation in departmental meetings and training.
  • Document care effectively to ensure continuity of services.
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Midwifery or related field
  • Additional certifications in childbirth education or lactation consulting (advantageous)
Experience
  • Experience in antenatal, labour, and postnatal care

Advantageous
