Electrical Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to provide efficient design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve existing electrical designs and systems.
• Provide input to project budgets and timelines.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders for approval.
• Document and report issues and solutions on projects.
• Supervise junior staff and provide mentorship.
• Assist in the development and implementation of design standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design or a related role.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• EPLAN
• MATLAB
• LabVIEW

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM software: Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software for electrical design.
