Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will provide vital assistance and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort and assisting with daily activities. The ideal candidate will be attentive, caring, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

Responsibilities

• Help patients with personal hygiene tasks.
• Observe and record patient behaviours and health changes.
• Engage patients in conversation to improve their emotional wellbeing.
• Assist staff with medical and non-medical tasks.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained and properly sanitized.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate on care solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Health and Social Care
• Training in Mental Health First Aid is an advantage

Experience

• Experience working in a similar role for at least 1 year is preferred.
