Responsibilities

  • Examine and assess the health of animals, making accurate diagnoses.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment options tailored to individual patients.
  • Engage with pet owners to discuss health management and strategies.
  • Keep up-to-date with veterinary advancements and best practices.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the clinic environment.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and interns.
  • Manage and resolve client concerns and complaints efficiently.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational events.
  • Maintain stock levels of medical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Chartered Veterinary Surgeon status
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice
