Job Description

The Medical Librarian will provide essential research, reference, and information services to support clinicians and researchers. This role involves managing diverse library collections and organising databases and resources to streamline access to quality information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reference and research services to faculty and staff.
• Assist in the maintenance of print and electronic resource collections.
• Engage with external organisations to enhance library services.
• Implement new technologies to improve information access and knowledge management.
• Facilitate collaboration with clinical staff and researchers to ensure efficient information flow.
• Record and analyse usage data to enhance library services.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in library management, research, and reference services

Technical Skills

• Database Management

Certifications

• CILIP Qualified Librarian

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
