Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Bristol team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients facing a range of psychological issues. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Strong communication skills and a passion for improving mental health are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions using established protocols.
  • Develop intervention strategies based on individual assessments.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on mental health awareness.
  • Liaise with other professionals and community resources.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainees.
  • Conduct research and contribute to service development.
  • Participate in outreach programs to promote mental health services.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to the organisational goals of improving mental health access and treatment.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent)
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with HCPC
Experience
  • Experience in a healthcare or community-based setting preferred
