We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients with physical disabilities. You will play a vital role in helping individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, enhancing their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and create comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
• Perform manual therapy techniques and modalities to alleviate pain.
• Track and report patient progress to ensure outcomes are being met.
• Advise on lifestyle modifications and ergonomics related to rehabilitation.
• Encourage and motivate patients in their recovery journey.
• Work closely with physiotherapy assistants to optimise patient care.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding their home exercises.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Relevant certifications in physical therapy are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
