Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable Soil Testing Technician to join our team in Wigan. The successful candidate will perform soil sampling, testing, and analysis to provide our clients with critical data regarding soil conditions and quality.
Responsibilities
Perform field and laboratory tests on soil samples.
Analyze data to determine soil composition and quality.
Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and clients.
Compile research and analysis for environmental projects.
Conduct risk assessments related to soil contamination.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
Ensure laboratory standards and protocols are consistently followed.
Prepare soil samples for external laboratory testing when necessary.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Environmental Science or a related area
Postgraduate qualifications in Soil Science preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in the environmental sector
