Job Description
The Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient admission process. You will coordinate with healthcare professionals, manage patient records, and support patients and their families throughout the care journey.
Responsibilities
Oversee the patient admission process, ensuring all information is collected accurately
Liaise with various departments to facilitate smooth patient transitions
Document all patient interactions and ensure data compliance with regulations
Streamline communication between patients, families, and healthcare staff
Implement patient feedback protocols to enhance service quality
Organise training sessions for new staff regarding intake procedures
Analyse admissions data for reporting purposes and process improvements
Work in collaboration with the finance team for billing inquiries
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and health regulations
Assist in developing new patient intake forms and processes
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
Experience
2+ years experience in patient intake and care coordination preferred
