Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of therapy services to patients, working closely with occupational therapists to implement treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance daily living skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help implement creative and effective occupational therapy interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to build rapport and trust.
  • Assist in the assessment of patients' needs and goals.
  • Foster a positive recovery environment through encouragement and support.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistance or equivalent
  • Further qualifications in a relevant specialty is advantageous
Experience
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in a healthcare setting
