Station Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Station Inspector to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and smooth operation of our station facilities. The Station Inspector will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, maintenance checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies that may occur.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety protocols and ensure a high level of cleanliness at the station.
• Assist the Station Manager in conducting evaluations of station operations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and provide information as needed.
• Prepare reports on station conditions and inspection outcomes.
• Assist in developing emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Utilize technology for monitoring safety standards and station conditions.
• Collaborate with local authorities during emergency situations.
• Assist in training new staff on station safety and inspection protocols.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure optimal station operation.
• Regularly review and update safety documentation and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within the transportation industry is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• CCTV monitoring systems
• Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Customer service

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Relevant security or safety certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
