Job Description

As an Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Your daily tasks will involve loading, unloading, and transporting materials, while adhering to safety regulations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can contribute to our dynamic team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver forklifts and tractors.
• Ensure correct loading and unloading of materials.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment for safety compliance.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize operations.
• Keep accurate logs of material movement and equipment use.
• Participate in safety training and compliance programs.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment use.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in safety training are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar operating role.
