Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery that produces and assembles muffles for industrial furnaces. You'll ensure quality control and efficient operations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery for production runs.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production and report any issues.
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to improve production workflows.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational training or certification in manufacturing or metal refining preferred

Experience

• Experience in muffle production processes is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with quality control processes
• Maintenance skills

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a team
• Manual dexterity

Certifications

• Health and Safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality assurance roles: Familiarity with quality control metrics and compliance.
