Tree Surgeon

Job Description

As a Tree Surgeon at Green Arbor Services, you will be responsible for the maintenance, care, and removal of trees. Your expertise will ensure the health and safety of trees in both domestic and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat tree diseases and pests.
• Conduct tree risk assessments and implement appropriate measures.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and team members.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• NPTC Certificate of Competence in Chainsaw and Tree Climbing
• Valid First Aid certification
• Relevant Arboriculture or Horticulture qualification (desirable)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in tree surgery or a related field

Technical Skills

• Tree species identification
• Climbing and safety techniques
• Chainsaw operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in customer service roles.: Ability to handle client relationships and inquiries effectively.
