Manufacturing Development Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Development Officer to lead process improvements and innovative projects in our Armagh facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
• Research and introduce new manufacturing technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production challenges and implement preventative measures.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Ensure that environmental, health, and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a manufacturing role with project management experience

• ERP Systems
• Quality Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of sustainability practices: Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing processes.
• Experience with collaborative robots (Cobots): Hands-on experience working with Cobots in manufacturing.
