Job Description

As an Environmental Engineering Technologist or Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing soil samples to assess soil quality, contamination levels, and making recommendations for soil management practices. This role involves significant fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse soil samples from various sites to assess quality and contamination levels.
  • Conduct field tests to measure key soil metrics.
  • Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Draft and present findings to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all field equipment, keeping it in good working order.
  • Collaborate with ecological and engineering teams on interdisciplinary projects.
  • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
