Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Extrusion Operator responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products. The ideal candidate will ensure machines are running efficiently to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Configure and run extrusion machines per production requirements.
• Supervise and optimize the production process for efficiency.
• Carry out routine maintenance checks and repairs on machinery.
• Conduct inspections and testing of products for quality assurance.
• Document all production activities and maintain logs.
• Engage with team leads to address any operational challenges.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols in all processes.
• Seek opportunities for process enhancements for better productivity.
• Support the onboarding of new staff with training and guidance.
• Actively participate in team meetings to share insights.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational qualification in manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing role operating similar machinery

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving skills

Advantageous

• Experience in cleanroom environments: Knowledge of standards and practices in cleanroom settings.
