Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Design Drafter to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage the drafting team, overseeing the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans for various engineering projects. Your expertise will ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of all drafts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of detailed CAD drawings and ensure alignment with project needs.
• Manage the drafting team's performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop and refine drafting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure the team adheres to industry standards and health and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing training programs for team members.
• Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries from other departments.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the team, encouraging innovation.
• Review contracts and project specifications to ensure all requirements are accounted for in drawings.
• Participate in project planning sessions to provide insights on drafting capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Engineering or Drafting

Experience

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.

Languages
