Job Description

As a Tax Consultant in Edinburgh, you will be an integral part of our taxation team, providing expert advice and strategic guidance to clients across various sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of UK tax law, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on all aspects of taxation.
  • Review and optimize tax structures for complex client scenarios.
  • Prepare correspondence with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings to identify and discuss tax planning opportunities.
  • Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Research and analyze tax-related issues affecting clients.
  • Compile data for tax compliance and reporting.
  • Facilitate tax workshops and educational sessions for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree or additional tax qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or similar role
