Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hearing Aid Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and repairing hearing aids for our clients. The Hearing Aid Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs regarding hearing aids and recommend suitable products.
• Conduct repairs and regular service checks on a variety of hearing aids.
• Educate patients on the proper use and care of their hearing aids.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and necessary repairs.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Work with suppliers to order and manage inventory of hearing aids and parts.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or formal training as a Hearing Aid Technician is preferred

Experience

• Experience with different types and brands of hearing aids

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of hearing aid programming tools
• Good manual dexterity

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills

Certifications

• Additional certifications in audiometry
• Customer Service Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong customer service skills: Experience in providing exceptional service to clients in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in more than one language is advantageous.
