X-Ray Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team in Carlisle. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiological equipment, performing diagnostic imaging tests, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance activities.
• Keep abreast of advancements in radiology and imaging technology.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to radiological procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or allied healthcare field
• Postgraduate qualifications in imaging technologies is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a busy hospital environment preferred

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.)

Languages
