Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant in Swansea, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Support patients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
  • Measure and document vital signs and patient observations.
  • Offer compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
  • Keep the patient care area clean and tidy to promote safety.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues and transportation needs.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to deliver effective patient care.
  • Dispense medications according to nursing protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
  • Follow all regulations regarding patient confidentiality and care standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning through training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Higher Education in Nursing or related field preferred
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a care role
